一队女童军在教练带领下准备前往英国伦敦拉练，六个队员Ann（柏安妮 饰）、May（罗美薇 饰）、Fanny（袁洁莹 饰）、阿珍（李丽珍 饰）、阿朱（罗明珠 饰）、阿玲（陈加玲 饰）性格各异、活泼好动，甫一上飞机，她们便捉弄同机的推销员王初一（黄百鸣 饰），令初一被教练认定为色狼。飞行半路故障失事，女童军和初一流落一座荒岛。八人解除误会后，在潜藏着大猩猩和各种怪异生物的岛上通力合作，将荒岛改造成一个小小乐园，不久，因阿珠受伤，他们结识了在战争年代就来岛上定居的老兵邓伯还有猩猩伙伴“靓仔”。邓伯透露在岛上的后山有一片毒贩种植的罂粟，如果想返回香港，就要趁毒贩来岛上的时候借用他们的船……
