哈维尔和战斗机驾驶员的父亲离开圣路易斯里约科罗拉多这个边境小镇时，他还只是一个少年，经常憧憬着长大后可以在街道上参加地下世界的战斗。成年后，头发斑白的哈维尔已经是一个资深战士，被称为Callejero，和他在一起的还有他的拳击经理何塞，可是好赌的何塞因为欠下巨额债款，迫使两人必须依靠打假拳来还钱。最终哈维尔难以忍受，选择退出了比赛，独自回到自己那支离破碎的家庭。他试图开始新的生活并尝试与父亲恢复感情……
