七○年代蘇聯佔領的匈牙利，共產黨嚴密統治的時代，為了支援戰況水深火熱的越南，領導請來曾在古巴對抗美帝的游擊英雄巡迴宣傳，首要任務就是鼓吹捐血活動。然而令眾人訝異的是，這位英雄征戰多年，容貌看起來竟然仍是個小伙子，讓眾人匪夷所思。在上級密令下，一對特務情侶開始近距離監視這位陌生的英雄，他們的關係卻也因此受到了考驗……。
翻玩吸血鬼經典元素，攪亂諜報愛情題材，導演馬克波茲札爾延續前作風格，再展天馬行空的荒誕本領。以病態浪漫血漿美學，混搭惡搞歷史怪誕人設，在嚴肅的冷戰時代背景上，構築超現實黑色喜劇，不僅對東歐的極權歷史大加嘲弄，媲美《暮光之城》跨越人魔的唯美設定也毫不馬虎。
