这是一个超能英雄泛滥的世界，他们头戴面具、身穿紧身制服，虽然不像超人那般拥有多种超能力，但是这群英雄凭着各自拥有的独门绝活助人于危难之中，他们组成超能协会，协同作战，一度为警方和市民所信任。但是自从某个英雄枪杀妻子之后，他们的声望一落千丈。超能英雄冰冻弗兰奇（Kris Lemche 饰）正是那个杀妻英雄的儿子，而如今他正陷入焦虑之中。他现实中名叫布兰登，因与女友艾米丽（Christine Evangelista 饰）关系恶劣而化身超级英雄和对方交往。在一次执行押送任务时，他结识另一位英雄“穿视”（Joey Kern 饰）。由于未到押送时间，这两个英雄在附近的旅馆盘桓，惹出了不少消化。 焦头烂额之际，弗兰奇更听到一个令他难以置信的事实……
