剧情简介： 杰克哈蒙医生（杜德利摩尔）是个成功的心脏外科医生，也是医院内最热门的下届院长人选，但他和独子克里斯（柯克卡麦隆）之间却有著一条看不见的代沟。 由于正值青春期，克里斯也必须面对爱情、课业、音乐、跑车等一般青少年常见的问题，但由于一次意外，杰克和克里斯同时喝下一种能让脑波互换的神奇药水，使得爸爸成了只能拿零用钱、还得应付生物期末考的儿子，儿子却转身一变成为手持金卡、开著拉风跑车的老爸。 这场因身分互换而产生的混乱，也让这对父子有了能够了解彼此问题的机会，但也因此闹出了不少令人捧腹大笑的乌龙事件；这是一部适合全家观赏的绝佳喜剧。
