话说某朝某代，蜀中有一户唐门，祖上本是武功高强的盖世英雄，传至唐方海一辈，则一心教授四个儿子饱读圣贤之书。然而唐家第三子唐吉（郭涛饰）字可德，无心圣贤，专好武侠神怪小说，以至于走火入魔，不辨虚实。这一日，唐吉可德佩戴祖宗的甲胄和霸王枪，骑着家中的瘦马爪黄飞电离家出走，他访名山，会高友，指望打通任督二脉成为爵士奇侠。\r 当他路过桑家村，恰巧撞见豪强富贵强抢民女翠花（林嘉欣饰）。唐吉可德挺身而出，凑巧打败豪强的狗腿子令狐有味（刘桦饰），但是翠花早已被人掳向长安。唐收当地羊倌桑丘（王刚饰）为仆，为了伟大的正义事业和美丽的香香公主一路向长安进发……
