游戏改编剧《光环 Halo》确定由Showtime预定10集首季，Otto Bathurst负责执导部份集，此剧于定于2021年播出。
本项目由13年开始启动，但期间动作不多，在14年XBox En ertainment Studioses闭门后转交给Showtime开发，历时4年终于成功发展成正剧。《光晕》系列讲述了26世纪时，人类与外星种族之间的史诗级宇宙战争。
