一段难舍难离搞笑式的爱情故事，就在虎邱山庙宇里开始。唐伯虎（黎耀祥饰）因纳闷，趁机与祝枝山往庙上香，怎料竟窥得四美中倾国侍婢秋香（陈彦行饰），其回眸一笑，更令他神魂颠倒，立志追求。唐先收买祝，假借替秋香解答，信口开河，却摆了个大乌龙。跟着，唐又大唱山歌，坦白对秋香倾慕之情，反遭戏弄。不久，他施计混入太师府内，望能与秋香朝夕相对，惜越弄越糟。某日，宁王与夺命书生到访并借故向太夫人下毒，适逢唐母寻子到府内，唐的身份终被揭穿，追打，与秋香一同跌入情花丛，太夫人盛怒准备将他们生祭情花。行刑之日，夫人毒性发作，夺命书生乘机赶至，轻易捉拿府内众人；四美迫于无奈下，惟有放唐门书生，终能一保太师府各人平安，遂得太师特赐秋香为妻，惜夫人有心刁难，要四侍婢一起扮新娘，看唐是否能点中秋香？
