影片用两代人跨越时空的爱情来演绎吉安老区人民的创业故事、幸福故事、追梦故事。脱贫不松劲，致富再出发。虽然父亲曾在家乡遭到爱情事业的双重打击，红军后代陈宏辉却对家乡情有独钟，带领公司员工参加红色培训，看到井冈山的脱贫攻坚战如火如荼，激发了他回乡创业热情，却遭受各方面的反对。他在神岭村创业经历了一系列挫折，还与林小虎在产业和爱情上发生种种冲突。在村支书钱新民、红培中心左萍等的帮助下，谱写了人才进山村、生态产品进城、城乡共为奔小康的动人乐章，也收获了美好的爱情。
