捕快沈梦星押解囚徒刘大牛去省城大牢的途中，在龙门县遭遇龙门山女匪玉娘和雪蝶的掳劫，二人被俘上山，成为山寨的一员。新的山寨更名为“龙门寨”，玉娘做大当家，沈梦星为二当家，大牛为三当家。后玉娘命沈梦星和大牛出山请龙门书院教书先生陆霖萧来山寨当了军师。众人齐心协力，想把山寨事业经营的辉煌起来，结果各种损点子阴差阳错，误会连连，引来一段段爆笑的糗事。一次陆霖萧拖大牛为自己带一封家书给父亲，大牛前去陆宅的中途救下渔家女婉儿。山寨众人听了婉儿的身世后都义愤填膺，决心帮助婉儿与以穆知县为首的官府恶势力作斗争。
