《小娘惹2008》剧情简介
本剧以一个大家庭几代人的恩怨情仇，融合娘惹文化精髓，展现了新加坡的历史变迁。哑女菊香（欧萱 饰）出生在一个新加坡土生华人大家庭，温柔漂亮更有一手好厨艺和女红，由于是姨太太所生而身份低贱。在日军南下前夕，她被安排嫁给一位富有峇峇当妾，却不甘命运安排而逃婚，巧遇一名日本青年摄影师，最终两人私定终身。战争爆发后，菊香夫妻不幸遇难身亡，留下孤苦伶仃的女儿月娘（欧萱 饰）。
月娘逃到外祖父家，在外婆的督导下，继承了娘惹的厨艺、女红，长成像她母亲一样娇俏的少女。战后外祖父一家逃难回来，月娘就像当年的母亲一样，被歧视、毒打、折磨，为了保护外婆，她忍辱负重。由于一次误打误撞，她结识了“身无分文”的小司机陈锡（戚玉武 饰），此后两人来往不断。原来陈锡出生名门，隐瞒身份与月娘交往，却被她的纯真、善良和坚强感动，对她一往情深。由于身份地位悬殊，各自的家庭不断施压，两人决定...
