日本土耳其合作电影《海难1890》
该片根据真人真事改编，故事发生在1890年9月的日本和歌山县串本町大岛的附近海域，来自土耳其的大使团乘坐的军舰发生沉船事故，船上618人跌入大海，导致五百多人丧生，共有69名幸存者在当地民众的营救下脱险。这一沉船救人事件，至今印刻在土耳其人民的心中。
