原泰久のマンガを佐藤信介が実写化した映画「キングダム」シリーズの3作目となる本作。信と王騎が初めて同じ戦場に立つ「馬陽の戦い」や、秦の国王・嬴政の過去が明らかとなる「紫夏編」が描かれる。
