明朝锦衣卫中的贺氏家族，世世代代守护琉璃鸡缸杯，经过传承到现代，杯子被盗宝猎人盯上，杯中隐藏着巨大的秘密，但无人知晓，主人公李莫寻，儿时遇袭，被贺氏家族传人救出，却失去父亲，所以一直想成为那样的人，当他遇到了真正的贺氏传人贺星云，并向他拜师学艺，从他身上学到了传统侠义精神，并了解到杯子隐藏的秘密后，李莫寻决定成为传人，获得了传承的使命，与盗宝团伙斗争后，最终用顽强意志和勇气战胜了对方，拿回了杯子，守护了鸡缸杯。
