女科学家Sigourney在自己工作的科技公司研制出了一台高智能少女机器人，为她起名为Frankie。老板希望将这台机器人转售给军火公司，当作武器来使用，Sigourney出于良知和对研究成果的保护，偷偷把Frankie带回家，并让她像普通青少年一样去上中学！Frankie不得不尝试用自己的智能学习功能融入新的家庭和学校生活，应对普通人同样会遇到的情感与挑战。
