警察中士杀死了一个在放样期间向他拉枪的男人但是死者嫌疑人是一位受人尊敬的医生，没有犯罪记录，无法找到该男子的枪支，中士被指控犯有过失杀人罪。中士努力清除他的名字，并确定枪支往何处以及医生为什么在那里。
