影片讲述的李大龙和刘绣凤是退休在家的京剧演员，都特别的好面子。在年轻时，两人最后一次合作《龙凤呈祥》因一件小事而结怨，两人又因自己的孩子李呈，吉祥是一对恋人而怨上加怨。李呈与吉祥为了自己的幸福，和舅舅刘栋想出了各种办法来化解双方的恩怨.......最终两人龙凤呈祥了。
