艾米（丽塔·沃尔克 Rita Volk 饰）和卡玛（凯蒂·史蒂文斯 Katie Stevens 饰）是一对好友，两人相识多年，感情十分要好。一次偶然中，卡玛遇见了名为连姆（格雷格·萨克因 Gregg Sulkin 饰）的英俊男孩，一幅画让卡玛无意之中窥见了连姆隐藏在面具之下的真实性情，因此对他心生好感，可是，连姆周围的女孩子实在是太多了，平凡的卡玛能够获得真爱吗？
就在好友陷入情感漩涡的同时，艾米亦要面对自己复杂的家庭问题，母亲再婚，让她和名叫劳伦（贝利·宝顿 Bailey Buntain 饰）的女孩成为了姐妹，没有人喜欢行事张扬的劳伦，艾米也不例外，可如今她们生活在同一屋檐下了，这会让两人的关系爆发出怎样的矛盾呢？
