学年结束了。期待已久的暑假来临了。小尼古拉斯、他的父母和奶奶前往海边的比奥里瓦奇酒店。在海滩上，尼古拉斯很快结交了一批新朋友：有布莱斯，他不在度假，因为他住在这一地区；有喜欢一切，甚至是鱼的奥古斯，他说话不像他们，因为他是英国人，总是哭个不停；还有科米，他总是想做对的，非常烦人。但尼古拉也认识了伊莎贝尔，一个总是用一双又大又圆又担心的眼睛看着他，尼古拉相信他的父母想强迫他结婚。误解累积，错误开始。有一件事是肯定的：对每个人来说，这将是一个难忘的假期。
