科里·斯旺森是一个熟食店的店员，乐观处世的他总是能够轻松化解各种千奇百怪的麻烦，同时他也善于将负面情绪深埋于心，不让旁人察觉自己的悲伤。美艳但性格却异常火爆的希娜·哈利迪曾是科里学生时代的梦中情人，而现在的她已是举世闻名的摔跤选手，借着校友聚会的契机回到故乡。分别十多年的两人如今将再次相遇，他们将擦出怎样的火花？科里又能否如愿抱得美人归呢？
